Chris Noring

Chris Noring is a Senior Cloud Developer Advocate at Microsoft, technical author, and educator focused on how coding agents reshape software engineering. His prescription for AI-assisted development is practical: delegate implementation, establish architectural boundaries, and keep experienced engineers responsible for what ships.

Noring began in mobile and web development before building a career around JavaScript, Azure, and developer education. He wrote books on Angular, reactive programming, and Go; created freely available guides to React and RxJS; and built mini-web, a lightweight Node.js web framework. He helped organize NgVikings, co-led the London JavaScript meetup, and became a Google Developer Expert.

At Microsoft, Noring supported students and faculty as a senior advocate on the academic team and contributed to Machine Learning for Beginners, coauthoring its introductory machine-learning lesson. His teaching expanded into generative text applications, including prompts, tokens, temperature, and model APIs.
