Vaibhav Page is the author of Argo Events, an open-source Kubernetes framework for event-driven automation, and an engineering leader whose work spans cloud-native infrastructure and financial AI. At BlackRock, he has built systems that turn complex financial documents into structured data and operational applications.

Page attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 2014 to 2016 and coauthored the announcement of Argo Events’ 1.0 release in 2020. In 2025, he was a principal engineer on BlackRock’s data teams. He and fellow BlackRock engineer Infant Rosario Vasanth are named inventors on a Kubernetes-native application deployment patent, filed in 2023 and granted in 2026, covering customizable state machines and controllers that coordinate application workflows.

Making financial AI operational

Page’s work on custom knowledge applications focuses on what happens between extracting information from a prospectus and making it usable in investment operations:

• Configurable extraction templates: Operators specify data types, required values, quality checks, derived fields, and dependencies. A callable bond, for example, may require both a call date and a call price.
• Domain-expert-controlled workflows: A sandbox lets financial specialists refine extraction templates, review document-level results, and configure transformations; an application factory packages those decisions into reusable operational software.
• End-to-end downstream integration: Instead of stopping at a CSV or JSON export, the system connects validated outputs to transformation and execution workflows, reducing manual handoffs during tasks such as security setup.

His practical emphasis is on making specialist judgment, validation rules, and downstream execution configurable parts of the same production system.
